A Game Of Trust

Pitch a game in which the issue of trust is central to the gaming mechanic in some way.

Consider ways in which players might decieve each other through interactions in a multiplayer game.  Remember that players playing in an online environment would not react or behave similarly to those playing face-to-face.

Is there a way to decieve the player in a single-player environment that might not leave them feeling cheated by the game?
